AMINA AFZAL is the Director at the Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad. She is a graduate of the Monterey Institute of International Studies and has worked as a GRA at the CNS James Martin Center for Non Proliferation Studies, Monterey, California, USA. She has more than 5 years of research experience at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad, Amina also remained an intern at the Division of Public Information, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Vienna, Austria (2005- 2006). Ms. Amina has a number of research publications to her credit. She has taught courses on European History, International Regimes, Strategic Trade Controls, and World History. Muhammad Shoaib is a Research Associate at the Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad. He holds an M.phil and an M.Sc. in International Relations from the School of Politics and International Relations, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. He has served as Associate Research Strategist at a private think tank: The Aleph Institute Islamabad. He has also remained an intern at the Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR). His areas of interest include Arms control and disarmament, Iranian nuclear issue, South Asia in the New Great Game.
Muhammad Abdul Qadeer
Muhammad Abdul Qadeer is a Research Associate at the Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad (SSII). He holds an M.Sc. in International Relations from National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad. His primary area of research is focused on South Asian politics & Nuclearisation of South Asia. He has also done various reviews on security challenges in South Asia.
Mr. Moiz Khan is a Research Associate at Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad. Prior to joining the SSII, he worked as an internee at the Arms Control and Disarmament Affairs Directorate in Strategic Plans Division, Pakistan. Mr. Moiz holds an M.Sc degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He received his B.A in Political Science and Pakistan History from University of the Punjab. His research interests include contemporary international affairs, strategic issues, arms control and disarmament nuclear politics and strategy and war.
Kashif Hussain is a Research Associate at the Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad (SSII). Prior to joining the SSII, he worked as an internee at Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS), Islamabad. He holds an M.phil and an M.Sc. degree in International Relations from the School of Politics and International Relations, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. He received his B.A from Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, Abbottabad. His areas of interest include geopolitics of South and Central Asia and defence economics.

Irfan Janjua is PS to DG SSII and Admin Incharge at the Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad. He has previously worked at Pulse Weekly Newspaper. From 2000-2008 he remained Network Administrator and P.A to DG at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI). Irfan Janjua has also worked at STR as Event Coordinator. From 2009-2010 he remained P.S to Editor, The Nation.
Muhammad Adnan is an Admin Coordinator at the Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad. He holds Msc. in Leadership Management Studies from National Defence University Islamabad. He holds B.com (IT) from Punjab College of Commerce Islamabad. He worked as an intern in Dawn News Islamabad.
