[dropcap]W[/dropcap]e at Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad (SSII) aim to put knowledge to practice by providing an alternate narrative in critical areas of Strategic Studies, especially arms control and disarmament. Being a pioneer think tank of its kind that would simultaneously conduct research as well as training, SSII is centered to build academic and research capacity – through specially designed activities – of universities, institutions and organizations (Governmental and non-Governmental – dealing with vital issues of national security).

SSII has been established to cater to the growing needs of in-depth strategic analysis by experts in the fields of International Relations, Arms Control and Disarmament and International Law. Significantly, the nationally recognized instructors at the Institute have diverse experience and rich knowledge of the courses being taught. The training carried out at the Institute will impart thorough knowledge that will help students evolve a robust and independent perspective.
