Fareeha Shamim is a Research Associate at the Strategic Studies Institute Islamabad (SSII). She holds a BA in International Relations and Economics with a focus in International Ethics from Mount Holyoke College. Prior to joining SSII, Fareeha was working with the AJK government as a Research and Liaison officer. She has previously worked as an intern at Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) and the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy (ICRD) in Washington, D.C. Her research focuses on religion and politics in Asia, ethics of war and peace, and the Kashmir dispute.
